About Little Man in the Big Wood

One day I went trekking in Huay Kha Kaeng with a few friends. This national wild life sanctuary is nominated World’s heritage and has many things to offer. Trekkers are usually not allowed to spend the night in the area without special permission. As we walked along a rivulet in the sanctuary, I notice a beautiful light from the setting sun. So, I slowed down a little to shoot this photograph. I thought I could capture serenity and quietness of the forest as a stream flew by. The stream itself has begun to dry up because it was in the dry season. Then a friend who walked ahead was at the right place in the picture frame. While making this shot, it occurred to me how little a person is among nature.
From that day, walking in the wood has always made me feel how little I am.
